The 7thedition of Africa Viewers Choice Awards is still a hot topic of discussion. Not only has the attendees been advised to self quarantine, following the popular claim that a victim of the virus attended the show, a popular designer, Ceo luminee who made actress Mercy Aigbe’s jaw dropping dress has cried out to the world that the dress was not imported to Nigeria for the event but was made by her. Anjy as she is fondly called has been receiving calls and messages since the dress was applauded as one of the best during the event.
Apparently most people thought she bought the gorgeous ensemble abroad, they all want to know the place she got it from so they can also start patronizing the store when they have opportunity to travel outside the country.
The fair skinned designer who was tired of receiving calls and explaining to those who have not gotten it that, the dress was couture here in Nigeria by her. She had to go to the social media to make a post in order to drive home her point.
Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo, is the talented designer behind Anjy Luminee couture located in the highbrow of ikeja. She has clothed a lot of celebrities and her designs are usually creative and distinct. She was the one who designed Aduni Adewale’s gorgeous garb for the AMVCA and that of actress Sola Sobola to the 7th edition of the much acclaimed award ceremony.
