The Presidential Task Force On Covid-19 in Nigeria has passed a warning to some states against rushing to reopen schools that such decision has escalated Covid-19 management situations in some countries.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha speaking on Monday during the presidential task force on Covid-19 briefing in Abuja.

He said that it would be in the best interest of Nigeria to stick to its slow phased easing of lockdown rules because it was effective.

“It is in the above context that the presidential task force appreciates the ongoing call for the reopening of the education sectors and indeed some sub-nationals are already making preparations for such,” He said.
